CNN at Black Marriage Day - We were honored to be photographers for Black Marriage Day. I'm not sure when the segment will air, or even if I'll have a cameo appearance. It was just exciting to be photographing an event with CNN present. Nisa Islam Muhammad is the founder of BMD. I think it was a great success. Thank you, Valerie for asking us to be a part of this event.

Bridal Boudoir Portraits - Brandi is getting married in October and wanted something special for her soon to be husband. She was a very beautiful person, both inside and out. I wish them many years of marriage bliss. The portrait session was the best of the best. Brandi made it easy for me. Congratulations you two lovebirds.

Busy, busy weekend. Attended the Rise and Shine Chamber networking group early Thursday morning at 7a.m. Other chambers in attendance were, Duncanville, Desoto, Waxahachie, Midlothian, etc. We had a huge breakfast of eggs, hash browns, fruit, juice, bagels, muffins, etc. at Mansfield's Big League Dream Friday....Later that morning..the Women's Division meeting...which I always enjoy.

Friday morning we help set up for the Mansfield Style Show, which was a HUGE success. Now sure how much money we (Mansfield Women's Division Foundation) raised, but it sure was a lot of fun.

Chasity Moore - 2009 Graduating Senior
Chasity came in with her mother and her sister to have senior pictures made. She had sooo many good images, it was hard for them to decide which ones to select. Dad came with them to give his most valued imput. She is such a beautiful person, both inside and out. We had so much fun! Her sister, Candice is joining our 2010 Model Team...so be on the lookout for her images also. Thanks, Melissa, for trusting me to do Chasity's senior portraits. You truly have a beautiful family.

Fall Portraits in the Park. I have so many favorites...just thought I'd share this family with you also. The Gooden Family wanted images of their children, cousins and grandparents. When we went out it was drizzling rain; but after the first couple of images, God just parted the clouds and let the sun shine through. We got some really great images.

I had the honor of speaking to 4th and 5th graders for career day at Venus Elementary. They provided us with a breakfast of bagels and juice. The home economics class provided a fabulous lunch of chicken cassarole, salad and some delicious brownies. There were 8 groups of 4th and 5th graders; each session was 30 minutes. I was scared out of my mind. I'm not a speaker....least of all to elementary kids. I let them know right off the bat that I wasn't smarter than a 5th grader. I had the time of my life. Those kids were wonderful! I even let some of them photograph their class. Thanks Venus, for allowing me to face my fears.
